Under the dual constraints of increasingly stringent industry regulatory policies and continuously growing capacity demands, pharmaceutical companies urgently need to find a new balance between compliance control and production efficiency.
Compared with traditional integrated whole-machine equipment, modular solutions featuring rapid maintenance, flexible adjustment of production takt time, and iterative upgradability are gradually becoming the mainstream choice for pharmaceutical production line upgrades. Closely addressing this core industry demand, Naweier has built a complete modular design system, implemented practices from the dimension of equipment structure modularity, and completed implementation verification in numerous customer projects.
At present, Naweier's 360° tablet, soft capsule, and hard capsule appearance inspection equipment has been put into stable operation at nearly 100 leading pharmaceutical companies. Long-term on-site operation data continuously enriches and improves Naweier's design approach to modular equipment. The equipment adopts a modular architecture and relies on standardized replaceable modules to achieve equipment maintenance, functional expansion, and multi-category product co-line production.

During the R&D stage, we adopt a split modular architecture, decomposing the whole machine into independent functional modules. Each module carries a dedicated function and supports individual disassembly and assembly as well as independent cleaning, providing greater operational flexibility in scenarios such as equipment maintenance, capacity expansion, and multi-specification co-line production.
Quickly locate faults and greatly shorten downtime. When equipment fails, the fault can be precisely located to a single functional module without disassembling the whole machine. All modules can be disassembled and assembled within 15 minutes, significantly reducing production line downtime losses.
One machine for multiple uses, adapting to multi-specification production. Relying on a unified modular hardware platform, products of different particle sizes and dosage forms do not require replacing the whole machine; specification switching can be completed simply by quickly adapting modules, effectively improving equipment utilization and production line flexibility.
Modules operate synchronously, making production more stable and precise. The action timing of key stations is precisely synchronized, effectively avoiding linkage deviations and stably adapting to the high-speed, high-precision production conditions of pharmaceutical companies.
Independent split-body cleaning, meeting GMP compliance requirements. Core process modules support independent disassembly, separate cleaning, and disinfection, in line with GMP workshop operating standards. There are no cleaning blind spots during batch changeovers and routine maintenance, greatly reducing the difficulty of on-site cleanliness control.
From production line layout to modular equipment, and then to hardware integration and software integration, Naweier has always focused on the three core demands in pharmaceutical production—flexibility, scalability, and full-lifecycle efficiency—to continuously refine its equipment and overall solutions.
